The State of New Mexico Geospatial Advisory Committee (GAC), formerly known as the Geographic Information Systems Advisory Committee (GISAC) exists to guide and enhance the use of geospatial technologies in state government.

GAC is a standing committee of the New Mexico Department of Information Technology (DOIT); our mission is to provide a forum for state and local governments to:

1. coordinate geospatial technology in New Mexico state government
2. develop policy recommendations and guidelines concerning geospatial technology in New Mexico state government
3. share geospatial technology among all government agencies and the public
